Details

At dawn, you will be collected from your hotel in Port Ghalib and transferred in a private air-conditioned car to Luxor to commence your two-day tour from Port Ghalib to Luxor and Aswan, accompanied by a private Egyptologist guide to explore the historical treasures of ancient Egyptian civilization, beginning with:

Valley of the Kings

The Valley of the Kings, known as the Path to the Heavens, is adorned with the legacy of ancient Pharaohs who ruled Egypt during the New Kingdom period (1550-1050 BC), including Ramses II, Tutankhamun, Seti I, and others. Nestled within the heart of the mountain are 63 tombs, featuring remarkable colorful decorations, carvings, and paintings, among which 20 royal tombs contain a wealth of legendary treasures.

Hatshepsut Temple

Among all the temples in Egypt, one stands out prominently: the Temple of Hatshepsut, constructed in 1479 BC during the reign of Queen Hatshepsut (1479-1458 BC). It is renowned as the best-preserved archaeological site, showcasing the authentic classical Egyptian architecture of the New Kingdom.

Colossi of Memnon

Upon entering the magnificent golden city of Luxor, you are greeted by a monumental marvel: two quartzite sandstone blocks at the entrance, thought to represent Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386-1350 BC).

Lunch Time

Lunch will be served at a riverside Oriental restaurant overlooking the Nile, followed by a meeting with your guide:

Karnak Temple

Entering a living dream may seem surreal, but the magnificent Karnak temple complex is a tangible reality. It stands as one of the largest temple complexes ever built, constructed between 2055 BC and 100 AD, showcasing an impressive array of grand temples, shrines, and statues dedicated to the religious practices of ancient Egyptians.

Overnight

At the conclusion of your day, you will travel to your 5-star hotel in Aswan via a first-class train.

Meals: Lunch

Overnight: Aswan Hotel

In the morning, you will be collected from your hotel and accompanied by your tour guide to visit all the major tourist attractions in Aswan, including:

Aswan High Dam

In the 1960s, a modern marvel emerged as the cornerstone of the advanced technological era, enabling the storage of floodwaters, the generation of electricity, and the growth of the economy.

The Unfinished Obelisk

Hatshepsut's unfinished obelisk, crafted between 1508 and 1458 BC, is one of Egypt's most distinctive monuments, originally intended to stand at the entrance of the Karnak temple but was regrettably fractured during its construction.

Lunch Time

Enjoy lunch at a restaurant in Aswan, followed by visits to the following sites:

Philae Temple

The Philae temple is a fully constructed monument dedicated to the goddess of motherhood, love, and loyalty, the wife of the underworld ruler Osiris, and the mother of the triumphant sky falcon god Horus. It was built during the Ptolemaic period between 380 and 362 BC to celebrate the enduring myth of Isis and Osiris.

Proceed to the train station to board your train back to Luxor, then transfer to your hotel in Port Ghalib by a private air-conditioned vehicle, concluding your two-day tour of Luxor and Aswan from Port Ghalib.
