In the early morning, you will be picked up from your Marsa Alam hotel in a private A/C vehicle to begin your private luxury day trip to Luxor, accompanied by your Egyptologist guide to explore iconic sites:

Valley of the Kings

This necropolis carved into the hills of the Theban Necropolis on Luxor’s west bank holds 63 tombs of the New Kingdom’s greatest rulers, including Ramses II, Hatshepsut, Seti I, and Tutankhamun. Famous for Tutankhamun’s tomb, it has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979.

Hatshepsut Temple

Built at Deir El Bahari in 1479 BC for Queen Hatshepsut, this mortuary temple honors Amun and preserves her legacy. It remains the most complete example of classical Egyptian architecture and one of the most significant monuments of the New Kingdom.

Colossi of Memnon

These twin statues of Amenhotep III, erected in 1350 BC, once stood at the entrance of his mortuary temple. Over centuries, they were repaired multiple times and became renowned in the Greco-Roman period for producing mysterious sounds at dawn.

Lunch Time

Enjoy lunch on a Nile island, including a boat trip on the river, followed by a guided tour of:

Karnak Temple

This vast complex, built between 2000 BC and 30 BC, covers 247 acres and was the spiritual heart of Egypt for over 1500 years. Dedicated to Amun, Mut, and Khonsu, it features the Avenue of Sphinxes, the Hypostyle Hall, and remarkable carvings and reliefs.

Conclude the tour with a private transfer back to your Marsa Alam hotel.
