Giza Pyramids Complex

The most remarkable archaeological wonders found in the mystical area of Giza are the magnificent Giza Pyramids complex, built during the Old Kingdom period (2700–2200 BC).

The Great Pyramid

The Great Pyramid of Giza was built during the prosperous 4th dynasty around 2570 BC to serve as the tomb of Pharaoh Khufu (2609 BC - 2584 BC). It is renowned as the only surviving wonder of the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The pyramid stands at an impressive height of 146.6 meters (481 feet) and boasts remarkable interior chambers, including the Queen's Chamber, the King's Chamber, the Grand Gallery, and several others.

The Great Sphinx

The Sphinx is a mystical rock-carved statue that serves as the celestial guardian of Giza, recognized as the oldest monumental statue on Earth. It was commissioned by Pharaoh Khafre (2558–2532 BC) as a timeless symbol of wisdom and strength. The dimensions of the Sphinx are 19 meters (62 ft) in width, 73 meters (240 ft) in length, and 20 meters (66 ft) in height. The Dream Stele of Thutmose IV, created in 1401 BC, highlights his enduring legacy.

The Valley Temple

The Miraculous Valley Temple is the best-preserved site in Egypt, renowned as a sacred wonder where the mummification ritual known as the "Opening of the Mouth" was performed.

The Grand Egyptian Museum

The Grand Egyptian Museum serves as a prestigious gateway to the extraordinary ancient Egyptian achievements, reflecting 5000 years of ongoing innovation and remarkable artistic creativity. This magnificent institution offers a unique opportunity to explore some of the most significant archaeological monuments and artifacts ever uncovered, including:

The Hanging Obelisk, the Statue of King Ramses II, the Ten Statues of King Senusert, the Grand Staircase, the Statues of Ptolemaic Kings and Queens, the Victory Column of King Merneptah, the magnificent Royal Regalia, and the Grand Atrium & Gift Shop.

A VIP ticket provides access to view several additional artifacts. For more details, please contact us.

Lunch Time

Enjoy your lunch at a restaurant with a view of the pyramids, followed by a full-day Makadi Bay excursion to the Pyramids by plane, which includes visiting:

Saqqara Step Pyramid

The revered Saqqara Step Pyramid is a celestial marvel, completed by the legendary Imhotep for King Djoser (2686–2648 BC) to serve as his eternal tomb. It marked the beginning of the pyramid-building era, featuring a personal courtyard and rising to a height of 63 meters with six limestone mastabas.

Memphis City

In the 31st century BC, the ancient city of Memphis became the first capital of a unified Egypt under Pharaoh Narmer (3273 – 2987 BC). It served as a central hub for commerce, trade, and religion, protected by the god Ptah, the patron of craftsmen and artists. Additionally, the name Memphis is the linguistic origin of the modern English word "Egypt".

You will proceed to Cairo airport to board your flight to Hurghada, followed by a transfer to your hotel in Makadi Bay.
