Giza Pyramids Complex
The Giza Pyramids Complex, built during the Old Kingdom (2686–2134 BC), is a timeless treasure featuring the three main pyramids of Giza, six smaller pyramids, the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple.
The Great Pyramid
The Great Pyramid of King Khufu, constructed around 2600 BC with 2.3 million limestone blocks weighing about six million tons, stands 147 meters tall. Inside are hidden chambers, including the King’s Chamber.
The Great Sphinx
The Great Sphinx, carved around 2500 BC, was created to honor Pharaoh Khafre. Sculpted from a single limestone block, it features his face with the body of a lion, symbolizing wisdom and power.
The Valley Temple
