Details

Early in the morning, you will be transferred from your hotel in Port Ghalib to Marsa Alam airport, from where you will fly to Cairo. Upon arrival, you will meet your private tour guide and start discovering the city’s remarkable attractions, including:

Giza Pyramids Complex

The Giza Pyramids Complex is an impressive architectural masterpiece featuring several massive structures, including the Great Three Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, the Valley Temple, and six smaller pyramids.

The Great Pyramid

In 2580 BC, an eternal marvel was constructed from 2.3 million limestone blocks, rising to a height of 147 meters (481 feet). Inside, it contains intricate corridors and majestic chambers, earning the Khufu Pyramid the distinction of being the only remaining intact wonder among the famous seven wonders of the ancient world.

The Great Sphinx

The largest, oldest, and most renowned statue in the world is situated in the center of the Giza complex, serving as a protector of this ancient civilization. It depicts the mythical Sphinx, featuring the head of a man—possibly King Khafre—and the body of a lion in a seated posture, measuring 73 meters (240 feet) in height and 19 meters (66 feet) in width.

The Valley Temple

Since the era of Egypt’s Old Kingdom (2686-2134 BC), immortality has been a hallmark of the ancient Egyptians, marked by the establishment of the Valley temple dedicated to mummification.

The Grand Egyptian Museum

The Grand Egyptian Museum serves as a majestic gateway to the extraordinary ancient Egyptian masterpieces, representing 5,000 years of continuous innovation and vibrant artistic creativity. Inside this monumental marvel, visitors have a unique opportunity to explore some of the most significant archaeological monuments and artifacts ever created, including:

The Hanging Obelisk, the statue of King Ramses II, the ten statues of King Senusert, the Grand Staircase, statues of Ptolemaic kings and queens, the Victory Column of King Merneptah, the magnificent Royal Regalia, and the Grand Atrium with Gift Shop.

A VIP ticket grants access to view several additional artifacts; for further details, please contact us.

Lunch Time

Lunch will be provided at a restaurant offering views of the Pyramid and the Nile. Afterwards, your Port Ghalib tour will continue to Cairo with visits to:

The Egyptian Museum

Established in 1901 AD, the distinguished Egyptian Museum was designed to showcase the excellence and grandeur of ancient Egyptian civilization, situated in the center of downtown Cairo.

Al Muizz Street

Al Muizz Street is a remarkable example of beauty and grandeur, established during the Fatimid era in the 10th century AD as a commercial center and one of Cairo's main thoroughfares. It features numerous charming cafes, historic houses, museums, and art exhibits that highlight the splendor and richness of the golden age of Islamic culture.

Khan El Khalili Bazaar

The captivating and vibrant Khan El Khalili Bazaar is a remarkable street of stories and treasures, established between 1382 and 1389 AD during the Mamluk era as a hub for commerce and social interaction. This fascinating bazaar showcases exquisite cultural artifacts drawn from the rich heritage and remarkable 5,000-year history of ancient Egyptian civilization.
