Early in the morning, you will depart from Soma Bay to Hurghada Airport to board your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your tour guide and proceed directly to Cairo to commence your journey, beginning with:
There is nothing comparable to the Giza pyramid complexes anywhere else in the world, constructed during the Old Kingdom (2686 – 2181 BC). This site includes several monuments of enduring fame, comprising the three major pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, the Great Sphinx, the valley temple, and three smaller pyramids.
The Great Pyramid stands as a remarkable feat of engineering, constructed to grant eternal life to one of history’s most renowned rulers. Built around 2570 BC during the reign of Pharaoh Khufu (2609 BC - 2584 BC), it served as his eternal tomb. The pyramid was completed in just 20 years using 2.3 million limestone blocks and the labor of 400,000 workers, reaching a height of 147 meters (481 feet). It remains one of the tallest structures of the ancient world and the only surviving wonder from that era.
Located in front of the second great pyramid is the oldest known statue in history, the Sphinx. This mythical creature, featuring the body of a lion and the head and facial features of a man, is believed to represent Khafre (2558–2532 BC). It measures 73 meters (240 feet) in length and 19 meters (66 feet) in width and is constructed from limestone.
Imagine a place where time stands still. Such a place exists and is known as the Valley Temple, built during the Old Kingdom (2686 – 2181 BC) to conduct various mortuary rituals, primarily the mummification process of ancient pharaohs, including the opening of the mouth ceremony.
The Grand Egyptian Museum serves as a magnificent gateway to the extraordinary ancient Egyptian achievements, representing 5,000 years of continuous innovation and rich artistic creativity. Inside this monumental structure lies a unique opportunity to explore some of the most remarkable archaeological monuments and artifacts ever uncovered, including:
The Hanging Obelisk, the statue of King Ramses II, the ten statues of King Senusert, the grand staircase, the statues of Ptolemaic kings and queens, the Victory Column of King Merneptah, the majestic Royal Regalia, and the Grand Atrium and Gift Shop.
A VIP ticket grants access to view additional artifacts. For further details, please contact us.
Lunch will be served at a restaurant overlooking the Nile and the pyramids:
A visit to Tahrir Square, the center of Cairo, is essential for any tour. It houses the unique Egyptian Museum, established in 1901 AD, which contains numerous artifacts crafted from gold, stone, and various other materials.
The captivating Al Muizz Street is a remarkable masterpiece adorned with golden artworks crafted in the 10th century AD during the Fatimid Islamic era, serving as a commercial hub. Throughout the mesmerizing maze of Al Muizz, you will find a collection of elegant cafes, charming art galleries, and splendid houses that highlight the rich culture and history of this illustrious civilization.
Exploring ancient history becomes a reality with every step along the golden brick road of Khan El Khalili bazaar, one of the oldest marketplaces in the world. Established between 1382 and 1389 AD during the Mamluk era, it remains one of the few bustling bazaars still active today. The bazaar is adorned with stunning examples of Islamic architecture and is home to numerous cafes and shops offering unique goods exclusive to Egypt.
