The term "Complex" may seem unfamiliar to you, but it is commonly used in Egypt, especially when referring to ancient sites that house numerous burial tombs, such as Giza. The majestic and divine Pyramid of Pharaoh Khufu (2609 BC - 2584 BC) stands as the most important archaeological treasure and the only surviving wonder among the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. It served as the Pharaoh's final resting place. Constructed in 2570 BC by his brilliant vizier Hemiunu, the pyramid was designed to reach a height of 138.5 meters (454.4 ft) to symbolize the gateway to heaven.
Give a kiss to the Sphinx and be sure to capture plenty of photos in front of it, as it is the most renowned sculpture ever created by humans, representing Pharaoh Khafre (2558–2532 BC). Your tour guide will share extensive information about this archaeological site, so make sure to enjoy every moment of your visit.
Experience an extraordinary visit to the ancient site where rituals and mummification ceremonies were conducted, including the Opening of the Mouth ceremony performed on royalty to ensure their successful journey into the afterlife.
