The most notable attraction within the complex is the iconic Pyramid of Khufu.

The Great Pyramid

Situated on the historic plains of Giza is the majestic and legendary pyramid of Pharaoh Khufu (2609 BC - 2584 BC), which remained the tallest man-made structure in the world for over 3,800 years since its construction in 2570 BC, standing at a height of 138.5 meters (454.4 ft) and weighing approximately 6 million tons. The pyramid is precisely aligned with the four cardinal directions of the compass. It contains several remarkable chambers, including the renowned King's Chamber.

Its massive stone blocks and unique design are key characteristics of this impressive monument. The statue features the body of a lion and the head of Pharaoh Khafre, as most historians believe.

The Valley Temple
