The Valley of the Kings, located in the ancient city of Thebes, houses an extensive collection of remarkable tombs constructed between 1570 BC and 1050 BC during the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties. It served as a burial site from the 16th to the 11th century, primarily for royal tombs containing the remains of kings and their treasures. In 1979, the area was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Temple of Hatshepsut is a grand rock-cut temple situated at Deir El Bahari, constructed in 1479 BC. It is dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut, a female pharaoh of the 18th dynasty, serving both as a funerary temple and a monument to celebrate her accomplishments.

After breakfast, you will meet your professional tour guide to continue your three-day short break in Luxor by visiting the following sites:
The Valley of the Queens, located on the west bank of Luxor, is a highly visited historical site known for its numerous burial tombs of ancient female pharaohs. The earliest tomb constructed here is that of Princess Ahmose, and the valley was used as a burial site during the 19th and 20th dynasties. The renowned tomb of Queen Nefertari is often the primary attraction for most visitors to the area.
Medinet Habu was originally called Djanet and was considered the location where Amun first manifested. Due to its association with Amun, both Hatshepsut and Tuthmosis built the initial temple at Habu dedicated to Amun, followed by Ramses, who constructed his own mortuary temple, which later served as the administrative hub of Thebes.
Lunch will be served at an Egyptian restaurant, followed by a visit to:
Named "The Workers' Village," this ancient Egyptian settlement comprised the homes of artisans and craftsmen who served the Valley of the Kings during the 18th and 19th dynasties. The Arabic name "Deir Medina" originated when the Temple of Hathor was converted into a church during the Christian era.
We will escort you to Luxor Airport to conclude your three-day stay in Luxor.
