Valley of the Kings

Beyond the natural laws of time and space, the Valley of the Kings is a remarkable monument situated within the heart of a mountain. It contains over 60 tombs, including 20 royal tombs of the Ramesses Dynasty, Amenhotep I, Hatshepsut, Tutankhamun, and others. These tombs are adorned with captivating artifacts, treasures, and intricate artworks on the walls and corridors, all dating back to the New Kingdom period (1570-1070 BC).

Hatshepsut Temple

The New Kingdom represented the pinnacle of ancient Egyptian architecture, exemplified by the magnificent temple of Queen Hatshepsut (1479-1458 BC). Commissioned in 1479 BC to honor the sun god and creator deity Amun, this temple stands as a lasting symbol of enduring power, beauty, and grandeur.

Colossi of Memnon

The Colossi of Memnon journey approximately 700 km from Cairo to Luxor, standing as guardians of this magnificent city. Each of these colossal statues is 18 meters tall, weighs around 720 tons, and depicts Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386-1350 BC).

Lunch will be served at an oriental restaurant overlooking the Nile, followed by a visit to:

Karnak Temple

Karnak Temple, the largest open-air museum in the world, is situated in Upper Egypt within the ancient city of Thebes. It embodies over 3,500 years of religious history and devotion, housing deities such as Osiris, Ptah, Isis, Mut, Amun, Khonsu, and others within 25 remarkable temples.
