The legendary, mighty, and wise Great Sphinx of King Khafra (2558–2532 BC) is recognized as the oldest monumental sculpture in the world, measuring 73 meters (240 ft) long, 20 meters (66 ft) high, and 19 meters (62 ft) wide. It features the body of a colossal lion and the face of the king. The Dream Stele of Thutmose IV, created in 1401 BC, is positioned between its paws to signify its enduring legacy.
