The Great Pyramid

The Pyramid of Khufu is an extraordinary structure erected as a tomb by Khufu’s vizier, Hemiunu, during the 26th century BC, completed over a span of 27 years. It originally stood 147 m (481 ft) tall, with a base measuring 230.3 m (755.6 ft), and it eventually became one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, remaining the oldest to be fully preserved.

The Great Sphinx

The renowned Great Sphinx of Pharaoh Khafre (2558 – 2532 BC) was carved from limestone bedrock, depicting the facial features of King Khafre combined with the body of a mythical sphinx—a creature with a lion's body and a human head.
