8. Siwa City

Siwa is a majestic oasis located at the edge of the Great Sand Sea, part of the vast Sahara, close to the Libyan border. Siwa Oasis was the most inaccessible of all Egypt’s oases, and due to new road links, it has only recently opened up to tourism.
