Giza Pyramids Complex

The remarkable marvels of the Giza Plateau are unique and legendary, dating back over 4,500 years, including:

The Great Pyramid

The monumental pyramid of King Khufu (2609 – 2584 BC) was realized under the direction of Vizier Hemiunu around 2600 BC to protect the king’s mummy within the burial chamber. The pyramid rises to a height of 147 meters (481 feet) and is constructed from 2.3 million limestone blocks, totaling approximately 6 million tons in weight. Notably, the Great Pyramid of Giza is the sole remaining structure among the original seven wonders of the ancient world.

The Great Sphinx

The iconic Sphinx of Pharaoh Khafre (2558 – 2532 BC) is the largest and oldest man-made statue in the world, symbolizing his power and intelligence. Positioned between the Sphinx's paws is the Dream Stele of Thutmose IV, which was installed in 1404 BC.

The Valley Temple

The ancient Valley temple was built during the Old Kingdom period (2686 – 2134 BC) to serve as the primary site for the mummification process, preparing the kings and queens of the 4th dynasty for their journey to the afterlife.

The Grand Egyptian Museum

The Grand Egyptian Museum serves as a magnificent gateway to the timeless creations of ancient Egyptian civilization, showcasing 5000 years of continuous innovation and remarkable artistic expression. This extraordinary museum offers a unique opportunity to explore some of the most significant archaeological monuments and artifacts ever discovered, including:

The Hanging Obelisk, the statue of King Ramses II, the ten statues of King Senusert, the grand staircase, statues of Ptolemaic kings and queens, the Victory Column of King Merneptah, the magnificent Royal Regalia, and the grand atrium with gift shop.

A VIP ticket grants access to view several additional artifacts; for further details, please contact us.
