Giza Pyramids Complex

The Giza Pyramids complex is a sacred site comprising three primary pyramids, each named after a 4th dynasty king from around 2400 B.C. It also includes the Great Sphinx, six smaller pyramids, and the Valley Temple.

The Great Pyramid

The Great Pyramid of Giza, containing the tomb of Pharaoh Khufu, reaches toward the stars. It is the oldest and largest pyramid in the Giza Complex. The Khufu Pyramid measures 147 meters in height and was constructed using 2.3 million limestone blocks.

The Great Sphinx

The Bahariya Oasis, also known as the Northern Oasis, is located 370 km north of Cairo in the Western Desert. It dates back to the Middle Kingdom period (1975 BC-1640 BC) and the Greco-Roman era.
