The Great Pyramid
The magnificent Giza Pyramid is Egypt’s crown jewel, built for Pharaoh Khufu (2609 BC - 2584 BC) by his skilled vizier Henmiunu as his final tomb. Constructed around 2570 BC, it soared to a height of 138.5 meters (454.4 ft), making it the tallest man-made structure on Earth at the time. Each side of the pyramid aligns precisely with the cardinal points of the compass, and it remains the only surviving wonder among the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
The Great Sphinx
The Giza Sphinx was constructed during the reign of Pharaoh Khafre (2558–2532 BC) and is thought to have been created to associate the pharaoh with the Sun god. Visitors greatly enjoy photographing this iconic statue and learning about the history surrounding its creation. The Dream Stele of Thutmose IV (1401–1391 BC), erected in 1401 BC, tells the legendary story and significance of this magnificent monument.
The Valley Temple

Overnight: Onboard the Cruise
Your breakfast will be served onboard your Nile Cruise in the morning, followed by a guided tour of some of the most fascinating attractions on the west bank of Luxor, including the following sites:
Valley of the Kings
If you seek adventure and wish to deepen your knowledge of ancient Egyptian civilization and the lives of the great Pharaohs and rulers, you will undoubtedly fall in love with your visit to the remarkable Valley of the Kings. This site contains up to 63 royal tombs belonging to notable rulers such as Seti I, Rameses (I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, IX, X), Amenhotep I, Tutankhamun, Hatshepsut, and others. These tombs are the final resting places of royal members from the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties of the New Kingdom period (1570 – 1050 BC).
Colossi of Memnon
One of the most remarkable accomplishments of King Amenhotep III is the magnificent Colossi of Memnon, which are two seated statues depicting the Pharaoh. These statues were constructed to protect the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III (1391–1353 BC), built around 1350 BC. Although the temple was unfortunately destroyed, these two statues remain as the sole surviving remnants of the complex.
Hatshepsut Temple
Our senior guests will have an exceptional opportunity to discover the true enchantment of the Hatshepsut temple and gain insight into the rich legacy of Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC). This temple, which is the closest example of classical architecture in Egypt, showcases the remarkable funerary design of the New Kingdom. Completed in 1479 BC, it was built to honor the creator god Amun and commemorate her numerous accomplishments.
It is now time to return to your Nile cruise to enjoy a traditional oriental lunch and begin your sailing journey towards Edfu. You will spend the night in your cabin aboard your 5-star deluxe Nile cruise ship.

The Edfu Temple is also renowned as the best-preserved and most beautiful temple in Egypt, dating back to the Ptolemaic period between 237 BC and 57 BC. The temple was constructed on the legendary site where the mythical battle between Horus and his malevolent uncle Set occurred.
You will then return to your cruise to have lunch and proceed with the sailing journey towards Kom Ombo. Upon arrival, your tour guide will escort you to visit:
Kom Ombo Temple
The remarkable Kom Ombo temple is situated approximately 48 km north of Aswan and was primarily built during the Greco-Roman era between 180 BC and 47 BC. What distinguishes this temple as truly unique is that it comprises two temples in one; one is dedicated to Sobek, while the other honors Horus. It offers extensive insights into the techniques and instruments used by ancient Egyptian physicians.
