An air-conditioned car will pick you up early in the morning from your hotel in Port Ghalib and take you to Luxor, where your private tour guide will be ready to accompany you in visiting:

Karnak Temple

Egypt is renowned for its profound religious heritage and ancient traditions, exemplified by the Great Karnak Temple. Built over a span of more than 2,000 years, from 2055 BC to 100 AD, it covers 247 acres and served as the spiritual center of Thebes. The site features an impressive array of temples and shrines dedicated to Egyptian gods such as Amun, Osiris, Mut, Khonsu, Isis, and others.

You will embark on a 5-star deluxe Nile cruise, check in, unwind, and have lunch. In the evening, you will proceed to visit:

Luxor Temple by Night

The ancient essence of the festival can be experienced and appreciated within the magnificent Luxor Temple, which reveals its true splendor only under the glow of the stars and moon. Built around 1400 BCE to honor the Theban triad, it served as the sacred site for the grand Opet Festival.

Dinner and overnight accommodations will be provided onboard the cruise.

Meals: Lunch, Dinner

Overnight: Onboard the Cruise

Enjoy breakfast onboard your Nile cruise, followed by a private tour with your personal guide in an air-conditioned car to explore another segment of your Nile cruise itinerary from Port Ghalib, including visits to:

Valley of the Kings

The Valley of the Kings, a timeless vault of the eternal Pharaohs, encompasses all the features that define ancient Egyptian civilization. It houses 20 tombs belonging to renowned Pharaohs such as those from the Ramses Dynasty, Tutankhamen, and others from Egypt's New Kingdom period (1570-1050 BC). Visitors entering the valley will experience the oldest and most exquisite examples of ancient Egyptian art, including vibrant decorations and priceless treasures.

Hatshepsut Temple

Beauty and strength form the perfect blend of excellence found throughout the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Hatshepsut, where architectural mastery is evident in every statue dating back to 1490 BC.

Colossi of Memnon

Situated between the two grand Colossi of Memnon is a gateway to Luxor, where beneath their imposing shadows lies a rich history dating back to the reign of Amenhotep III (1386-1350 BC). It was intended to support a vast mortuary temple located in Cairo, approximately 700 km from Luxor.

In the afternoon, you will cruise to Esna and Edfu. Overnight accommodation will be on the cruise ship in Edfu. Lunch and dinner will be served onboard the cruise.

Enjoy breakfast on the cruise and continue your 5-day Nile cruise from Port Ghalib, proceeding to:

Edfu temple

The House of Victory and the sanctuary of the sky god Horus, this temple was the final structure erected during the Ptolemaic Period, initiated in 237 BC and completed in 57 BC. It is traditionally regarded as the site where Horus defeated his uncle Set. The Edfu Temple is distinguished by its unique fusion of ancient Egyptian and Greek cultures and architectural styles.

Kom Ombo Temple

No other temples in Egypt resemble this one—the dual temples of Horus and Sobek, constructed during the Ptolemaic period between 205 BC and 180 BC along the Nile River, feature an impressive array of inner structures.

Overnight stay in Aswan aboard the cruise ship. Lunch and dinner will be served on board the cruise.

After breakfast in the morning, your tour will begin with a visit to some of Aswan's most renowned tourist attractions, starting with:

The High Dam

Developed in the 1960s with assistance from the Russians to embrace the new era of innovation and scientific advancement by controlling floodwaters and producing electricity.

The Unfinished Obelisk

Commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC) to be installed at the Karnak temple, this structure unfortunately developed cracks during construction but still demonstrates the advanced and now-lost architectural skills of the ancient Egyptians.

Philae Temple

The Philae temple, constructed during the Greco-Roman period between 380 and 362 BC, is a place of enduring charm and mystique, dedicated to the goddess of motherhood and wife of Osiris, the lord of the underworld.
