Details

At the break of dawn, you will be picked up from your hotel in Port Ghalib by an air-conditioned vehicle to Luxor, where your private tour guide will accompany you on a two-day tour of Luxor and Abu Simbel, starting with:

Valley of the Kings

At the heart of the mountain lies a hidden realm between this life and the afterlife, containing 63 tombs of some of the most renowned figures from Egypt's New Kingdom period (1570-1070 BC). This includes 20 royal tombs, such as that of Pharaoh Tutankhamun, the entire Ramses Dynasty, and others, all adorned with remarkable golden treasures and exquisite wall art throughout the valley.

Hatshepsut Temple

A genuine visit to Luxor is incomplete without exploring the best-preserved archaeological site in Egypt, the magnificent Hatshepsut Temple. This pinnacle of ancient Egyptian architecture was built in 1479 BC to honor her enduring legacy and identity.

Colossi of Memnon

The ancient Colossi of Memnon have captivated the minds, hearts, and eyes of all who have encountered them at the entrance of Luxor. These statues were erected during the reign of Amenhotep III (1386-1350 BC) and were designed in his likeness to guard his now-forgotten temple in Cairo.

Lunch Time

Your lunch will be served at an Oriental Nile View restaurant, after which you will proceed with your tour to:

Karnak Temple

Spanning 247 acres, this is one of the largest archaeological structures ever built on Earth, dating from 2055 BC to 100 AD. Over a period of 2000 years, numerous shrines and temples were constructed throughout the complex dedicated to various deities, including the Theban triad of Khonsu, Amun, and Mut, as well as Isis, Osiris, and others.

Constructed between 1264 BC and 1244 BC, it was dedicated to several deities and his beloved wife, Queen Nefertari.
