Details

Your journey will start with a pick-up from your hotel in Makadi Bay by a private air-conditioned vehicle. A personal tour guide will then accompany you to explore some of the oldest monuments ever constructed, including:

Giza Pyramids Complex

The eternal sacred legacy of the ancient Egyptian 4th dynasty is perfectly represented by the metaphysical Giza Pyramids Complex, constructed in 2600 BC as a pathway to the heavens.

The Great Pyramid

The timeless symbol of Egypt's golden lands, the Great Pyramid of Giza was constructed as the tomb of Pharaoh Khufu (2609 BC - 2584 BC). It was designed by his chief chancellor and architect, Heminunu, standing at a height of 147 meters (481 feet) and featuring the grand hall that leads to the king's chamber and the queen's chamber. The pyramid is composed of 2.3 million limestone blocks, weighing a total of six million tons, and is oriented to face the four cardinal directions.

The Great Sphinx

The renowned Sphinx is the most iconic man-made statue in the world, featuring the face of Pharaoh Khafre (2558–2532 BC) atop the body of a massive prehistoric lion, symbolizing Khafre’s power and wisdom. The Sphinx measures 20 meters (66 ft) in height, 73 meters (240 ft) in length, and 19 meters (62 ft) in width. Additionally, the Dream Stele of Pharaoh Thutmose IV was placed between its paws beneath the face in 1407 BC to demonstrate his enduring strength.

The Valley Temple

The Mythical Valley Temple of Immortality and Purification is a well-preserved marvel constructed by King Khafre to eternalize the royal bodies of the 4th Dynasty through the performance of the Opening of the Mouth ritual.

The Grand Egyptian Museum

The Grand Egyptian Museum serves as a magnificent gateway to the extraordinary ancient Egyptian achievements, reflecting 5,000 years of continuous innovation and remarkable artistic expression. This monumental marvel offers a unique opportunity to explore some of the most exceptional archaeological treasures and artifacts ever discovered, including:

The Hanging Obelisk, the Statue of King Ramses II, the Ten Statues of King Senusret, the Grand Staircase, Statues of Ptolemaic Kings and Queens, the Victory Column of King Merneptah, the magnificent Royal Regalia, and the Grand Atrium with Gift Shop.

A VIP ticket provides access to view additional artifacts. For more details, please contact us.

Lunch Time

Lunch will be provided at a restaurant overlooking the Pyramid or the Nile, followed by a visit to:

The Egyptian Museum

The Egyptian Museum was built in 1901 AD in the heart of downtown Cairo to showcase the remarkable royal treasures and the exceptional skills of ancient Egyptian artists and craftsmen, whose work has endured for over 5,000 years.

Your Makadi Bay excursion to Cairo will conclude with a day tour by car, followed by a private air-conditioned vehicle transfer back to your hotel.
