Start your journey with a pick-up from your Cairo or Giza hotel and drive about 350 km to Bahariya Oasis. Along the way, enjoy two short coffee breaks. Pass by railway tracks used for transporting iron ore to Helwan’s steel mills, as Bahariya Oasis is a key source of iron ore in Egypt.
On arrival at Bahariya Oasis, meet your 4x4 safari guide for a desert adventure. The first stop is the Black Desert, covered in volcanic black powder. Continue to El Haize Oasis to enjoy its natural hot springs and explore remains of a Roman settlement. Lunch will be served, followed by a visit to the Water Museum, highlighting the role of underground water in desert life.
