  • Egyptologist tour guide to explore all the famous Luxor tourist attractions such as: 1. Valley of the Kings: The valley of the kings is like a time capsule located in the heart of the holy mountain which has acted as the final resting place of the greatest kings and queens of Egypt's new kingdom (1570-1070 BC). It holds 63 tombs filled with various enchanting treasures, artifacts, statues, hypnotically beautiful decorations, and the remains of pharaohs like Rameses (I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, IX, X), Amenhotep I, Hatshepsut, and the famous King Tutankhamun which all resulted in the valley becoming a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO in 1979. 2. Queen Hatshepsut Temple: The Hatshepsut Temple is renowned for being the beauty of Luxor, it gained the name Djeser-Djeseru (Holy of Holies) and showcases the might & will of one of the most successful rulers in the history of ancient Egypt Queen Hatshepsut. The temple was designed in 1479 BC and took 15 years to construct. The design of the temple is based on the concept of Classical Architecture of the new kingdom and within the temple lies some of the most impressive statues, decorations, and artifacts in all of Egypt. 3. Colossi of Memnon: Colossi of Memnon is different than most of the monuments in Upper Egypt, it has been known as the colossal guardians of Luxor. They are basically two massive blocks of quartzite sandstone standing at the height of 18 m (60 ft) weighing 720 tons each and have the shape of Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386-1350). The colossi were damaged due to a large earthquake in 27 BC but were rebuilt again in 199 AD. The statues gained quite a fame during the Greco-Roman period due to The Vocal Memnon which resulted from the statues singing from time to time which were nothing more than the sound of the wind passing through the statue at dawn. Lunch Time: Then move to have your lunch on an island, so your tour includes a boat trip in the Nile River followed by a tour to: 4. Karnak Temple: Karnak temple is one of the holiest places on the face of the planet, it was known as Ipet-isu The Most Selected Of Places, and Pr-Imn House Of Amon, it dates to more than 4000 years and is the largest religious man-made construction in the world & also the biggest open-air museums on earth. It was the heart of the religious worship of the entire ancient Egyptian kingdom for more than 1500 years to various deities but was dedicated primarily to the Theban triad that consisted of God Amun with his wife the Goddess of Justice Mut and his son the moon god Khnsou, plus other gods like the great Osiris, Montu, Ptah and Isis. Overnight: You will spend your overnight at your hotel in Luxor. Meals:
    • Breakfast
    • Lunch
Day Four: Transfer To Aswan By Train - Tour To Aswan Landmarks In the morning, you will have your breakfast and check out from the hotel in Luxor to continue the Cairo, Luxor, Aswan & Abu Simbel tour by boarding a 1*class train to Aswan. Upon arrival, your private Egyptologist tour guide will take you on a tour around all Aswan tourist attractions, including:

The High Dam

The High Dam represents the modern might of the city of Aswan. Constructed between 1960 & 1970 during the reign of President Gamal Abdel Nasser, the dam was designed as a cooperative project with the Moscow-based Hydro Project Institute. It helps better control Nile flooding, generates hydroelectricity, and provides increased water storage for irrigation in its reservoir, Lake Nasser.

The Unfinished Obelisk

The Unfinished Obelisk is a fascinating tale that was sadly left unfinished. Ordered by Queen Hatshepsut (1508–1458 BC) to stand at the entrance of the Karnak Temple, it was known as "Tekhenu," meaning "to pierce the sky." This obelisk demonstrates how obelisks were created from scratch and showcases ancient Egyptian engineering methods. Unfortunately, the obelisk cracked during construction and remains in the same location even today.

Lunch Time

You will enjoy your lunch in a local restaurant in Aswan to get ready for the next stop:

Philae Temple

The Philae Temple is a symbol of myth, allure, and charm in the city of Aswan. It is famous for spreading the "Myth of Osiris," which recounts how Isis' husband Osiris was killed by his brother Set out of hatred and envy. Osiris was resurrected to rule the underworld, and Set was defeated by Isis and Osiris' son, Horus. The temple was relocated to the island of Agilkia in the 1960s during a rescue mission led by UNESCO after the construction of the Aswan High Dam.
Overnight You will then check in at a 5* hotel in Aswan to spend the overnight stay.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Overnight: Aswan Hotel

In the morning, check out from the hotel before being transferred with your breakfast boxes to Abu Simbel by a private air-conditioned car joined by your private tour guide.

Abu Simbel Temples

The two great Abu Simbel Temples have stood as the final frontier and guardian of the southern border since their creation by King Ramses II (1279-1213 BCE) during the New Kingdom to immortalize his legacy. Everything about these temples reflects the ultimate concept of greatness and glory. The temple was called the Temple of Ramesses, beloved by Amun. The Abu Simbel temples consist of two remarkable structures:
  • The larger temple is dedicated to Ramses II and features the iconic sun festival occurring annually on February 22 and October 22, when sunlight aligns perfectly with the statues of Ramses II, Ptah, Amun, and Ra.
  • The smaller temple honors Queen Nefertari, Ramses' wife.
These temples were part of a significant rescue mission led by UNESCO in the 1960s, one of the most challenging archaeological rescue operations in history.
