    The vacation of your life will begin at the moment of your arrival at Cairo airport, our "Passion Egypt Tours" employee will help you finish your passport control formalities and luggage identification & carry. Then, you will be transferred by a private air-conditioned car to your hotel for checking-in.

    Giza pyramids complex is a time paradox where everything remains the same. It dates to more than 4000 years and includes the three main pyramids, six little pyramids, the Great Sphinx, and the valley temple.

    🏗️ The Great Pyramid of Khufu

    The Great Pyramid of Khufu is the clearest example of the power and eminence of the ancient Egyptian civilization. It is one of the oldest and largest constructions in the world as it was built in 2580 BC and took about 20 years to be built using 2,300,000 pieces of limestone. It stands at the height of 147m (481ft) to be the first of its kind which started the golden age of construction in Ancient Egypt and remained the tallest man-made structure for 3800 years.

    🦁 The Great Sphinx

    The Great Sphinx is the highest and grandest reflection of the powerful spirit of the holy country. It is the oldest statue in history that served as a source of inspiration to countless travelers and artists even today as a lot of mystery and allure still surrounds this place. It has a height of 73m (240 ft) and 19m tall and the shape of a mythical creature called the Sphinx that has the body of a lion and the head of a man probably King Khafre as a symbol of power and wisdom.

    📜 Saqqara Step Pyramid

    Saqqara Step Pyramid is credited with starting the golden age of pyramid constructions in Ancient Egypt. It was built by the genius Imhotep the vizier of Pharaoh Djoser. It has a unique design as it is made of six steps and stands at the height of 62 m and is surrounded by a complex with enchanting decorations and majestic ceremonial structures.

    🏛️ Memphis City

    Memphis city was founded by King Menes to be the life of the two lands and the official capital of Egypt. It is known for being the land of endurance and beauty that contained many great temples, palaces, and streets. Among the ruins of the city is an enormous statue of Ramses II and the great temple of Hut-Ka-Ptah, which was one of the biggest names in Ancient Egypt. The name of this temple is believed to be the origin of the name "Egypt".

    🏰 Qaitbay Citadel

    The Citadel of Qaitbay is an echo from the past preserving the spirit of an ancient wonder. It was constructed in 1477 by Sultan Al-Ashraf Sayf al-Din Qait Bay on the same site which held the legendary Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Using the stones salvaged from the destroyed lighthouse, the citadel served as the third-largest surviving ancient wonder in history until its demise by a series of earthquakes between 956 AD and 1323 AD. It now stands as a symbol of Alexandria’s heritage, holding the illuminating spirit of the Alexandria Lighthouse mixed with some amazing architectural designs & decorations for the Islamic era.

    💀 Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa

    The Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa is like a magical, middle-age painting buried in the ground where it came to life. It symbolizes the influence of the ancient Egyptian culture on the Greco-Roman Period. It was built as a necropolis dating to the 3rd century AD, which is due to the nature of the ancient Egyptian influence and Roman culture with the ancient Egyptian Pharaonic tone in the final rendition. It holds great numbers of Greek and Roman artifacts and a strong connection between its three-level stories, which made it known as one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages.

    🗿 Pompey’s Pillar

    Pompey’s Pillar is an example of the might & glory of the ancient Greek civilization. It is famous for being the largest monolithic column ever built outside of Rome. It was named Pompey’s Pillar because of the ancient Greek perception that the remains of the Roman general Pompey were once placed in a pot at the very top of the pillar. It stands at a height of 28 m tall and 2.7 m wide, made of pure red granite, and on its western upper side is a Greek inscription dedicated to Emperor Diocletian.

    ⛪ The Hanging Church

    The Hanging Church is one of the most famous Coptic spots in Egypt. The church dates to the 5th century AD when it was constructed on the southern wall of a Roman fortress called Babylon. The church served as the residence for the Coptic patriarch for a long time. It is 30 ft above the ground and looks over the entire city. The construction and the interior of the Hanging Church are completely enchanting, with elements from the 7th to 13th-century artistic periods.

    🕌 Amr Ibn Al As Mosque

    Amr Ibn Al-As Mosque was the first mosque to be built in Africa in 641 AD. The mosque was rebuilt countless times throughout the 7th century till today. The mosque still acts as an active house of worship and is one of Egypt’s most important & prominent historical landmarks. The mosque was rebuilt various times, which made it stand as a living example of the progress of Islamic architecture over the centuries.

    🕍 Ben Ezra Synagogue

    Ben Ezra Synagogue is perhaps the unique destination in Egypt as there is no place like it in all of Egypt. It dates back to the 19th century, when it was used for church and then was transformed into a synagogue in 882 AD. It is believed that it held a copy of the Old Testament. The place has been a place of Coptic/Jewish worship for countless years until the 1950s. The place remains in good condition and has a rich history.

    The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) is a miraculous center for exhibiting the historical and cultural wealth of ancient Egypt that dates across 5000 years. This museum is the first of its kind in Africa and the world, which was opened to the public in 2020 to offer a golden path leading to the eternal treasures of Egypt.

    🕌 Salah El Din Citadel

    The Citadel of Salah El Din has been the tower of the glorious city of Cairo for more than 800 years. It was constructed in 1182 AD by the great Ruler & victorious Salah El-Din. It served as the center of rule and a powerful fortress against the Crusaders and Egypt’s rulers from different ages. It became the headquarters of the government for more than 700 years. Within the citadel lies a number of museums and intricately structured buildings.

    🕌 Mohamed Ali Mosque

    Mohamed Ali Mosque has known as the Alabaster Mosque due to its unique design and the extensive usage of marble. It was built between 1830 and 1848 AD to be a replica of the blue mosque in Istanbul and act as a symbol of independence and freedom against the Ottoman kingdom. The mosque is very captivating with its Ottoman-style architecture. The outer walls of the mosque are covered with pure alabaster blocks. It holds an ornate brass clock as a gift from King Louis Philippe of France to Muhammad Ali in 1845 in exchange for an obelisk that stands in Concorde square in Paris.

    🕌 Sultan Hassan Mosque

    Sultan Hassan Mosque is one of the early Islamic Mamluk architectural in Cairo as it was built by Sultan Hassan between 1356 AD and 1363 AD. The Mosque is very massive with 150 m in length and covering 7,900 sqm in land space plus its walls reach the height of 30 m. It was using stones from the Pyramids of Giza and it is rumored that the construction was so costly and expensive, that it nearly emptied the Mamluk Treasury because of the magical and truly enchanting decoration within the mosque.

    🕌 Al Rifai Mosque

    Al Rifai Mosque is one of the most majestic constructions in Egypt. It is located in Midan Al-Qal'a in Cairo next to the Cairo Citadel and opposite the Mosque of Sultan Hassan. It is known in English as the Royal Mosque. It was designed to resemble the mosque of Sultan Hassan in magnificence and grandness but with a more modern style as it contains the tomb of the descendent of Muhammad Ali. The mosque was built on a 500 square meter area and began construction in 1869, and was completed in 1912.

    🕌 Ibn Tulun Mosque

    Ibn Tulun Mosque is the best example of Islamic architecture as it was able to capture the true spirit and essence of Islamic civilization in Egypt during the golden Islamic age. The mosque was constructed by the Emir Ahmed Ibn Tulun who ruled Egypt from 868 to 883 AD in a location on top of an ancient mountain. It was built on 26,318 sqm, which makes it the third-largest mosque in the world. It is known for its majestic minaret, which had a great impact on Genic Architecture.
