The Karnak Temple is a significant part of ancient Egyptian civilization and one of the most important archaeological attractions in the world. It was built across 247 acres during the Middle, New, and Greco-Roman periods between 1971 BC and 30 BC. The temple was dedicated to the Theban triad of Mut, Khonsu, and Amun. One of the most fascinating parts of the temple is the Hypostyle Hall, with its massive columns, and the sacred lake.
You will then check in to a 5-star Nile cruise. After lunch onboard, you’ll have free time to relax before heading out again to explore:
Luxor Temple, also known as “The Southern Sanctuary,” was built around 1400 BC to be a symbol of renewal for kingship. The magical Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (1508–1458 BC) is a golden example of art and architecture that stood the test of time to become a symbol of beauty, honor, and divine rule. It’s considered a complete example of classical Egyptian architecture. Built in 1479 BC, the temple is arranged on three levels with terraces showcasing the legacy and greatness of Queen Hatshepsut.
The Valley of the Kings is located in the ancient city of Thebes and holds 63 royal tombs dedicated to the rulers of the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties of the New Kingdom (1570–1050 BC). Among the most famous kings buried there are Ramses I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, IX, Seti I, Amenhotep I, Tutankhamun, and Hatshepsut. Incredible discoveries and artifacts were found inside the tombs and painted on their walls.
The Colossi of Memnon are two giant seated statues built by King Amenhotep III (1391–1353 BC) in 1350 BC from stones brought from Cairo. Each statue is about 18 meters (60 feet) tall and showcases many carvings that celebrate the king’s legacy and achievements.

The beautiful Philae Temple is a magical archaeological site built between 380–362 BC in the Ptolemaic era. It was dedicated to the goddess Isis, the goddess of motherhood, healing, and magic, and wife of Osiris, ruler of the underworld. The temple also honors their son Horus, the falcon god of victory and protection.

Pompey’s Pillar is one of Alexandria’s most iconic ancient monuments. It is a Roman column carved out of granite between 298–302 AD, erected in honor of Emperor Diocletian. Both the base and top of the column have carvings dedicated to him.
The majestic Qaitbay Citadel, built between 1477–1479 AD, stands as a symbol of power and immortality.
