Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa

The epic mound of shards Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa is a rare archaeological creation and the only one of its kind found in the underground of Alexandria which served as the resting place for a single Roman family from the 2nd century and the 4th century AD. On the three floors, the 100 m underground tomb is the epic creation of artistic architecture which was highly successful in merging the styles of the Imperial Roman, Hellenistic, and Pharaonic cultures.

Pompey's Pillar

One of the most incredible archaeological treasures found in Alexandria Pompey's Pillar is a rare Roman monolith column that was carved of granite between 298–302 AD to act as a triumphal column for Emperor Diocletian on the eastern side of the Serapeum of Alexandria. On both, the climax and base of the pillar are a number of carvings dedicated to Pompey.

Qaitbay Citadel

The blessed Qaitbey Citadel is a golden creation of majesty and immortality which was constructed between 1477 AD to 1479 AD for many reasons which include guarding the northern borders of Egypt as a defensive castle, honoring the honorable memory of the heavenly member of the living wonder of the ancient world, the lighthouse of Alexandria where the citadel was built on its located using its rocks which were destroyed in the 11th century.
